I took a test on howtolearn.com to see what my top learning styles were. These are my results.
33% Visual Learner
44% Auditory Learner
22% Kinesthetic Learner
I have to say I was a little surprised because I have previously considered myself a visual learner. Although I was considered a Visual Learner for 33% I was rated much higher as an Auditory Learner. This could be a very useful way to learn more about your students and help them reach maximum potential for each student on an individual basis.

Webquests
Webquests
A webquest is defined as an online interactive learning activity. The students obtain information from the internet usually by working in groups and dividing work between the students. The goal is for the students to spend the majority of the time learning rather than searching for facts.
I will be teaching early childhood education, most likely in a general education setting. I like the idea of a webquest because I will be able to provide my students with the websites that will be beneficial to their learning. Therefore they will not be coming across websites that are not appropriate for little eyes and little ears.
Webquests are nice because they can be used for students to incorporate technology into the classroom, the only down fall is that they are time consuming and can be a challenge for teachers to create.
